Gunnersbury Park

Gunnersbury Park has historically suffered from a lack of upkeep, partly due to the park being jointly administered by Ealing and Hounslow Councils. The two Councils have both resolved to appoint a team to work on a bid for Heritage Lottery Funding support towards the cost of the scheme.

With regards to the regeneration project for the site, significant financial commitment has been made towards this project, with both councils working jointly towards raising external grant funding for the site. They will be submitting a Major Grants Application for over £5m to the Heritage Lottery Fund in November this year, a process that will involve a review of options based upon, but not limited to, previous work. I will help to ensure the success of this project and make sure there is significant community engagement and consultation. I hope this will range from a series of consultation events, engagement workshops, presentations and other activities.
